a paper thin heart shaped box

We need more folds than fingers to construct a cube or rectangular prism. More curves than thumbs make a box into a heart unless the box will not allow its interiors to surface. Rarely counted but often measured are the hidden and exposed, encompassing those planes that are flat, creased, raised, opening into an unmaking. These poems and sketches can be smoothed and wrinkled into what might be deforming and delineating, raveling and tangling fragility and determination. Read and turn and open. Let us unloop our hearts together.
